Shay and Reed met in November of 2015 at a research conference in Las Vegas. Little did they know they would end up spending a life together! Their bond deepened when they both attended Michigan State University to get their PhDs from the Department of Communication. Beyond research, Shay and Reed have a lot in common! They both love to cook, spend time in nature, camping, playing tennis, gardening, music, and science-fiction. Shay and Reed felt ready to tie the knot and took their vows in March, 2024 on a beautiful day in Atlanta. Now they want to celebrate with close friends and family. They look forward their future and starting a family of their own.

Our wedding will be a small and intimate event. All the guests are our family members and closest friends.
